LEWIS E. WILLIAMS, MD
Dr. Williams, a surgeon with more than 30 years' experience, specializes in thoracic surgery.
He received his post-graduate training at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston, where he was chief resident in general surgery and chief resident in thoracic surgery. He also completed a residency in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree at the New Jersey College of Medicine and his B.S. at Fordham College.
Board Certified in Surgery and Thoracic surgery, Dr. Williams is a Diplomate of the American Board of Medical Examiners, American Board of Surgery and American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at the SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine and has published many articles in professional journals.
